I enjoyed the stay here which was full board for three nights.
The bungalow we stayed in was nice although the heater in the bedroom didn't work too well meaning it was rather cold. There are extra blankets in the room so we didn't get too cold overnight. Some of the bungalows are a couple of minutes walk from the lodge building so it's an idea to pack an umbrella to use between buildings. Easy to spot lots of birds from our bungalow too.
The lodge building is also pleasant with nice views and a real log fire (necessary as there doesn't seem to be any other heating). The full menu has lots of choices and looks really nice. However, if you are full board, you only have a selection of 5 starters and 5 mains which didn't change at all while we were there. Three days of lunch and dinner from the same small menu does get a bit dull and makes you feel a bit like a second class citizen.
All the staff are really friendly and helpful.
